Connect my Website Builder site to a domain registered outside of 123 Reg

If your domain is not registered with 123 Reg, it's still an easy process to connect it to your Website Builder website.

Go to your 123 Reg product page.
Scroll down, expand Website Builder and select Manage next to your website.
Select Edit Website or Edit Site.
Select Settings.
Next to your domain, select Manage.
In the My Domain dropdown box, select Add an external domain.
Select Next.
Enter your domain in the box to check if it's valid.
We'll show you information specific to your site. Sign in to your DNS provider and use the information to update the DNS records. If you need help, please contact your DNS provider—123 Reg won't be able to make these changes for you.
After you've changed your DNS records, select the Yes, my domain's A Record has been updated checkbox.
Select Save & Publish.

Connecting to your 123 Reg domain usually takes a few minutes but can take up to 72 hours.
