What is Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 is the very latest version of the popular suite of productivity tools from Microsoft – formerly known as Office 365. What devices can I use Microsoft 365 on?
With the Full Office Suite package, you can download and install all your apps onto 5 Macs or PCs, enabling you to work online or offline from your computer. These apps will be kept up-to-date with all the latest tools and features.
Microsoft 365 also includes a range of mobile apps designed specifically to ensure that you can work just as well on your iPhone or Android device as you can on your computer in the office. These mobile apps have been built from the ground up to deliver all of the tools and features you’re used to, on a touch-screen interface, and can be installed on up to 5 tablets and 5 smartphones.
Mobile Apps are only available with our Microsoft 365 Business Professional package.
Online Apps are browser versions of your favourite Microsoft 365 applications that can be used to open and edit your documents wherever you are connected to the internet. They are available with our Online and Full Office Suite packages.
Do I need to buy Microsoft 365 for every single user in my company?
Yes, as each user requires their own licence to access and use Microsoft 365. Although our Full Office Suite allows you to install Office on up to 5 Macs or PCs, 5 tablets and 5 smartphones, these apps may only be used by the licensed user. If you require more users, multiple packages will need to be ordered.
How many documents can I store in 1TB?
A Terabyte (TB) could hold approximately 3.6 million 300 Kilobyte images, 300 hours of video, 150 hours of HD video and 2,000 hours of CD quality recording. It has been estimated that a Terabyte could store 85,899,345 pages of Word documents, if that were possible to have a document that big. In essence, you have all the space a thriving business could need.
Can I buy Microsoft 365 without a domain name?
Yes, you can. A domain name is only required if you wish to personalise your email accounts using the domain name. If you purchase a Microsoft 365 package without email included or opt to use the default provided email account a domain name will not be required.
I already own a domain. Can I use it with Microsoft 365?
Absolutely! Whether your domain is registered on your 123 Reg account or with another provider, you can add it to your Microsoft 365 package.
If you purchased your product after September 2023, you’ll be able to select the domain that you wish to use when adding your email account. Please read the following article: How do I set up a new user in Office 365?

Is there a minimum contract?
The minimum contract length for Microsoft 365 is 1 year. If, however, you'd rather buy in bulk, you can sign up for a 3-year contract instead.
Can I upgrade my plan?
Yes! If you’d like more storage or features for your email, it’s easy to upgrade your Microsoft 365 plan.
If you purchased it before September 2023, you’ll need to buy the plan you’d like to upgrade to in advance.
If you purchased your product after September 2023, you will be able to select your new plan and upgrade it immediately through your dashboard.
