How do I delete my domain?
This article will show you how to delete your domain name within your Control Panel.
If you’ve decided that you no longer need one of your domains, you can remove it from your 123 Reg account by following the steps below. Doing this will suspend any products and services that are associated with your domain, so make sure that you’re happy to do this before proceeding.
Important: after completing this process, your domain may enter a redemption period, depending on its extension.
Please note: this article was originally created for our current Control Panel. As such, the steps outlined below may not be relevant for domain names purchased before September 2023 as we will be migrating them to our current Control Panel between August and December 2023.
Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.
Next, select Manage All opposite Domains within the ‘All Products and Services’ section.
You will now see a complete list of your purchased domain names. Select which one(s) you wish to update from the provided list by clicking the checkbox next to them.
Next, select Delete Domains in the bar that appears below. If you can’t see this option, click More instead and you will find it within the menu that appears.
A pop-up window will now appear, asking you to confirm your decision. Click the tick box opposite Yes, I consent to delete the selected domains and then click Continue.
After a few moments, you will be shown a confirmation message stating that your domain has been successfully deleted from your 123 Reg Control Panel.
