If you want to perform more advanced technical procedures, such as manage runaway scripts or allow an initialisation file to occur, you may need to end the PHP processes on your hosting account.
Please note: this process applies to Web Hosting plans purchased after July 2020 and Premium Hosting plans purchased after August 2020 (cPanel).
On your dashboard, select the cPanel Admin button that appears above Settings.
Choose the option Select PHP Version under the Software heading.
Under PHP Selector | Extensions, select the current PHP version and choose a different version from the menu. From there, select Set as current.
Once done, select the option Set as current that appears.
Repeat this previous step but instead re-select the version you were previously using. Once done, select Set as current to confirm it.
Please note: this will immediately disrupt any connections and users will have to reconnect to the hosting platform.
