How do I upgrade my Web Hosting package?
This article will show you how to upgrade your Web Hosting package.
As your online business grows, you may find that you need more from your Web Hosting package. Luckily, you can upgrade your hosting plan at any time by following the instructions outlined below.
Simply click on a title below to skip to the most appropriate FAQ. You can also click the Top button to return and make another selection.
If purchased after July 2020
Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.
From there, select Web Hosting within the ‘All Products and Services’ section and then click Manage opposite your hosting plan.
If you can’t find your hosting package in this list, you may be able to find it in the ‘Manage Active Products’ section within our legacy Control Panel. For more details on this, please read the following article: How do I access and manage my products?
On the next page, select Upgrade within the Hosting Plan Actions section.
You’ll now be shown a selection of packages you can upgrade to. Click Upgrade for the plan you want to upgrade to.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the checkout process. Once this has been done, your hosting package will be upgraded.
If purchased before July 2020
Start by logging in to your legacy Control Panel. For details on how to do this, please read the following article: How do I access and manage my products?
From there, select Web Hosting within the ‘Manage active products’ section and then select Manage opposite ‘Manage Web Hosting (bought before 09/07/20)’.
This will show you an overview of your current hosting packages. Click Manage for the account you wish to use.
On the next page, click Upgrade.
You’ll now be shown a selection of packages you can upgrade to. Choose which plan you wish to upgrade to and click Upgrade to confirm your choice.
