How do I disable 2-step verification on my account?

This article will show you how to disable 2-step verification on your 123 Reg account.

If you’ve decided that you no longer wish to have 2-step verification enabled on your 123 Reg account, please select the section that applies to you and follow the steps outlined below:

If you DON’T have access to the device/app used to set up 2SV

Step 1 of 8

Start by visiting our Regain Access To My Account

Step 2 of 8

From here, select 2-Step Verification Access.

Select 2SV Access

Step 3 of 8

You will now be taken to a new page where you will need to submit a few details so that we can confirm your identity. Enter your email into the provided field and select Next.

Step 4 of 8

On the next page, enter your first name, last name, email address and phone number associated with your account into the provided fields. Once you’ve done this, select Next.

Step 5 of 8

Next, you will need to upload a photo of your ID, which can include your driving licence or passport. This is so we can verify that you are the account owner. If, however, you are not the account holder, please upload identification for yourself and the account owner.

Once you’ve done this, select Next.

Step 6 of 8

You’ll now need to select whether your company is listed as the account holder.

If you select Yes, you will need to enter your company name, along with any additional information, and upload a government-issued document such as a Council Tax Bill or HM Revenue & Customs Letter.

Once you’ve made your selection, click Next to continue.

Step 7 of 8

On the next page, select the provided box and then complete the provided security challenge.

Step 8 of 8

Once you’re happy with all the information you’ve entered, click Submit to complete the process.

We will be in touch with you shortly about your cancellation request.
