Why does my email renewal invoice not specify a domain name?
This article will explain why, when you receive an invoice for your email renewal, it doesn’t show a specific domain name.
When you receive an invoice for most of our services, you will see a domain name on the invoice. This is the domain name that your package is associated with.
However, when you receive an invoice for your email, you will notice that it doesn’t specify a domain name.
This is because the email system works on a quota, allowing you create mailboxes for any domain name in your account, as long as you have the quota to do so.
For example, you could purchase five mailboxes, and create email addresses for four different domain names, leaving one spare. But when you come to renew your mailboxes, you are still renewing for initial quota of five, regardless of how you have used them, and what domain name they are associated with.
