Please note: this article was originally created for our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our current generation of Virtual Private Servers.
Once logged into your Plesk control panel, click on the Tools & Settings link under the Server Management section.
Now, select Database Servers under Applications & Databases.
Click on your MySQL host name.
Click on the Databases tab.
Now click on the Webadmin icon under the tools section.
You will now enter phpMyAdmin. From the list in the left sidebar, select the appropriate database for which you wish to make user amendments.
Now click on the Privileges tab.
If you have already created a user for the particular database following the FAQ on creating database users then click on the Edit Privileges link for the user you wish to amend.
If you have yet to create your user skip to step 10.
You can now check on or off for the privileges you wish the user to have for this database. When finished click on the Go button to complete.
Adding a new MySQL user with privileges
After following the above steps up to step 8. Click on the Add a new user link.
You can now add a database user name, host, password and set the privileges for the user.
Once finished click on the Go button to complete.
