How do I configure scheduled FTP backups in cPanel?
This article will explain how to configure scheduled FTP backups.
Please note: this article was originally created for our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our current generation of Virtual Private Servers.

Login to your 123 Reg VPS hosting account through cPanel WHM.

Click on the Backup button.

Click on the Configure Backup button.
Step 4 of 5
Choose your backup configuration options, this includes Backup Status, Backup interval, Specific days to run backup and an option to remote backup via FTP.
Please Note: You will need to create an FTP account on your backup server and input the details within these configure options shown above.

Once completed click on the Save button to finish.
