How do I make a backup snapshot of my Server?
This article applies to 123 Reg Dedicated Cloud Servers.
This article will explain how you can make a backup snapshot of a 123 Reg Cloud/Hybrid server.

From there, select Cloud Hybrid Servers within the ‘Manage active products’ section and then select Manage opposite Manage Cloud Hybrid Servers.

Click on the Manage button next to the Cloud Server you wish to configure.

Click on the Backups tab.

Then click on the Permanent snapshots link.
Step 6 of 7
Click on the Create button.
Important: During the process of creating a permanent backup snapshot your server will be shutdown.
This can take a long time, depending on the amount of data stored on your server.
Step 7 of 7
When your snapshot has been created it will show in the Server Backups – Permanent snapshot area of your Cloud Server Control Panel.
