This article will show you how to reset the password for your Virtual Private Server.
Since this process differs depending on which version of our Virtual Private Server you have, please select your version from the list below and follow the provided steps to get started.
Current Generation
Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.
Next, select Servers within the ‘All Products and Services’ section.
Find the VPS wish to rebuild and click Manage opposite it.
You will now be taken to your dashboard. From here, click Settings.
On the next page, select Manage opposite Login credentials.
You’ll now need to enter your new password into the provided field, which must meet our requirements.
Once done, click Save to confirm your new password.
Previous Generation
Start by logging in to your legacy Control Panel. For details on how to do this, please read the following article: How do I access and manage my products?
From there, select Virtual Private Servers (VPS) within the ‘Manage Active Products’ section and then click Manage opposite Manage Virtual Private Servers (VPS).
Find the VPS wish to rebuild and click Manage opposite it.
Click on the Modify VPS tab.
Enter your new password into the box provided.
Click the Save Changes button.
