This article will show you how to upgrade your hardware on your 123 Reg VPS.
Please note: this article was originally created for our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our current generation of Virtual Private Servers.
Start by logging in to your legacy Control Panel. For details on how to do this, please read the following article: How do I access and manage my products?
From there, select Virtual Private Servers (VPS) within the ‘Manage active products’ section and then select Manage opposite Manage Virtual Private Servers (VPS).
Under the Severs section, click on the Manage VPS link.
Click the Manage button for the VPS you wish to update.
Click on the Dashboard tab.
Select the area of the VPS you wish to upgrade, and click the Upgrade button.
Use the slider to alter your upgrade, the relevant change in price will be shown.
When you have chosen your upgrade, click the Upgrade Features button to confirm your changes.
Your 123 Reg VPS will now be upgraded.
Please note: The maximum customisation limit is a 123 Reg VPS with 12 cores, 12GB RAM and a 300GB HDD
