This article will explain how you can download your SSL certificate.
Please note: if you are moving your SSL certificate to a new server or are experiencing any of the following issues, then you must re-key your SSL certificate instead:
- Your server has crashed
- You have lost your private key
- You receive an error message stating that the private key does not match
If purchased after December 2021
From there, select SSL Certificates within the ‘Manage active products’ section and then select Manage opposite Manage SSL Certificates.
This will take you to the SSL overview page, where you will see all your purchased SSL certificates. Simply click Manage opposite the certificate you wish to download.
You will now be taken to your SSL Certificate dashboard, which features a different interface and URL to our main site.
From here, scroll down to the section ‘Download Certificate’, then select your server type from the provided drop-down menu and click Download Zip File.
A copy of your certificate will now start downloading as a ZIP file, which will feature the domain name associated with your certificate.
If purchased before December 2021
From there, select SSL Certificates within the ‘Manage active products’ section and then select Manage opposite Manage SSL Certificates.
This will take you to the SSL overview page, where you will see all your purchased SSL certificates.
If you haven’t already done so, select the Generation 1 tab.
From here, click Download Certificate.
You will now be taken to a new page where you’ll be given your certificate in code form. Simply copy and paste this code into a separate document.
