How do I revoke my SSL certificate?
This article will explain how you can revoke your SSL certificate.
If your website is no longer operational or if you accidentally requested your certificate for the wrong business, you may wish to revoke your SSL certificate. Doing this will cancel your certificate and remove HTTPS from your associated website.
If, however, you are changing your SSL certificate type, you may wish to re-key your certificate instead.
Please note: this process is irreversible and cannot be undone.
From there, select SSL Certificates within the ‘Manage active products’ section and then select Manage opposite Manage SSL Certificates.
This will take you to the SSL overview page, where you will see all your purchased SSL certificates. Simply click Manage opposite the certificate you wish to revoke.
You will now be taken to your SSL Certificate dashboard, which features a different interface and URL to our main site.
From here, click Revoke within Status.
Next, you will need to select the most relevant reason why you wish to revoke your certificate. Once you’ve done this, click Revoke Certificate.
After a few moments, your certificate’s status will now state ‘Revoked’.
