This article will show you how to add and update images within Website Builder.
Need to replace an old image that’s no longer suitable? Want to make it black and white instead, or just a bit brighter? Our Website Builder tool offers a number of flexible image editing options that are incredibly easy to use. Simply follow the instructions below to get started:
Please note: this article only applies to Version 9 of our Website Builder. If you’re not sure which version you have, you can find out by reading this article.
Adding a new photo
Start by logging in to Website Builder.
From there, access the page you wish to add an image to and then add a new section.
Browse for your preferred section by using the search bar at the top of the right-hand menu. Some of the most popular options can be found within About, Content, Introduction (part of General) as well as Image Gallery.
Once you’ve chosen a section, you can then choose from several layout options. Simply select Add opposite your preferred choice.
After a few moments, your image gallery will be added to your website. This will initially be populated with stock photos, all of which can be changed using the provided options within the right-hand menu.
Once you’ve done this, we recommend adding an Image Description into the provided field as this will help improve your chances of being discovered on search engines.
