How do I replace the cover photo with solid colour?
This article will show you how to fill your cover media section with colour.
If you don’t have any suitable images that you can use as a cover photo for your website, having a solid colour for this area is a viable alternative. Follow the instructions below to get started.
Please note: this article only applies to Version 9 of our Website Builder. If you’re not sure which version you have, you can find out by reading this article.
In addition to this, some of our Website Builder templates don’t come with a cover photo included.
Start by logging in to Website Builder.
From there, click the cover image within the top area of your website (aka the header).
Select the arrow that appears next to Cover Media.
Delete the image by clicking the trash can icon.
Click Done to save your changes.
Next, click one of the three colours within the Accent field to use it for your header background.
If, however, you’re not happy with this selection, you can pick a new range of colours by clicking Edit theme colour and selecting your colours from the Selecting Matching Colour or Select Custom Colour fields.
Once you’re happy with your new cover media section, click Done to return to the main site navigation menu.
