How to manage my stock levels
This article will show you how to manage your product stock levels within Online Store.
Stock levels allow your customers to see if your products are in or out of stock, this way you will not continue to sell items once all have been sold.
Since this process differs depending on which version of Online Store you have, please select your version from the list below and follow the instructions provided to get started:
If you’re not sure which version of Online Store you have, you can find out by reading this article.
Version 9
Start by logging in to your Online Store.
From there, select Store within the right-hand menu.
On the next page, click Products within the left-hand menu (below Store).
Click Edit opposite the product you want to update.
You will now see all your product’s details. From here, select Inventory & Options.
A new set of fields will appear, where you can manage your stock levels and set a ‘Low inventory’ warning, which will inform you when you’re about to run out of that product once its stock level reaches a certain value. You can also allow customers to backorder your product, should you run out of stock for that product.
Alternatively, you can disable this feature by clicking the toggle below Track inventory.
Once you’ve made your changes, click Save to confirm them.
Version 8
Start by logging in to your Online Store.
Select Ecommerce from the left-hand menu and then click Manage Store.
From your dashboard, click Catalog in the left-hand menu and then select the product you’d like to edit.
On the General tab, you will see a section labelled Stock Control. Click on the Manage option.
You can now set the amount of stock left or set it to unlimited. If you set a stock level, you can also set a reminder to be triggered when your stock hits a certain level.
